Tenchi Muyo! is copyright Pioneer LDC. It is distributed by Pioneer LDCA in North America (I think).

This Tenchi Muyo! OAV episode starts with Tenchi Masaki (grandson of a shrine-keeper) entering the shrine's cave, which is said to have a demon sealed within. Tenchi accidentally sets the demon free. Turns out it's a (young?) female demon/space-pirate, who wants to take out her revenge on Tenchi.
