All-Purpose Cultural Cat Girl NukuNuku

As usual, the copyrights:
All-Purpose Cultural Cat Girl NukuNuku is copyright 1992 MOVIC/KING RECORDS/YUZO TAKADA/FUTABA SHA. English subtitled version subtitled by and Licensed for distribution in North America by A.D.Vision.

29/3/99: I've just started watching this series. The first episode was fun enough to convince me to create a NukuNuku page.

A quote from a Nuku Nuku trailer: "The heart-warming story of a Boy and his Cat... ...and a Major Military Equipment Manufacturer".

What's this series about? A family feud. A smart scientist/engineer married into Mishima Heavy Industries (MHI; an arms and military equipment manufacturer), where he built a higly-advanced robot. Then he realized it would be used for war, so he took off with the robot and his son. His son picks up a cat, then the cat dies when the father crashed his truck trying to outrun an MHI helicopter-thingy. Somehow the father reincarnates the cat into his robot.

The mother wants her son brought back, and RIGHT NOW... So she sends out her minions at MHI to track down the father, his android, and her son.
