Moab 2K+1: Story and Photos... Day 4 (midday):
While leaving Moab, we noticed signs for Arches National Park. (our apologies to Stan and Dan for abandoning them at McDonalds while we visited parks and delayed our arrival)

Picture: On our way out of the park, the weather was awful-- rain, 1/4" hail... and the Balancing Rock off in the distance! Hail was falling as this photo was taken.
Picture: Marc standing in front of the Balancing Rock. Those streaky bits you see falling are hail. Big hail. It hurt as it was hitting us!
As we were leaving Arches National Park, we were wondering if Stan and Dan would actually wait for us in the McDonals in St George... They'd left Moab before us, they were faster drivers than us, and they most likely hadn't stopped to see Arches park!
Continue to DAY 4 (later)!
