Gunsmith Cats

First off, the copyrights:
Gunsmith Cats is copyright Kenichi Sonoda, A.D.Vision, Kodansha, VAP, and TBS. Distributed in North America by ADV.

Gunsmith Cats is about a pair of bounty hunters/gun store owners (Minnie May Hopkins, Rally Vincent) and their encouters with the ATF, corrupt government officials, and a Russian hitwoman. The story is set in Chicago, USA.

This is an excellent series. In the first episode, there's lots of actions with guns, including an extremely well-done gunfight in a warehouse. In the second episode, the focus shifts from guns to cars. There is an EXCELLENT car chase scene that lasts for quite a while, and is THE BEST car-chase I've ever seen. I was really quite impressed. In the third and last OAV, the focus was mostly on close combat... Rally and Minnie May vs. Radinov. Excellent production and animation quality.

Hats off to Kenichi Sonoda for an EXCELLENT series; one of my favourites.
